Escrova FAQ
Quick answers to the most common questions about how Escrova protects your transactions.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Escrova?
Escrova is a secure online middleman (escrow) platform that protects both buyers and sellers during transactions. We hold payments safely until both sides confirm that the agreed conditions have been met.
2. How does Escrova work?
It’s simple: • The buyer creates a transaction and funds it through Escrova. • The seller completes the delivery or service. • When both confirm satisfaction, Escrova releases the payment to the seller.
3. Why should I use Escrova?
To avoid scams, payment delays, or disputes. Escrova ensures transparency and fairness — neither side can lose money unfairly.
4. What payment methods are supported?
All transactions are processed securely through Paystack. Buyers can use cards, bank transfers, or Paystack wallets depending on their country.
5. When does the seller get paid?
Once the buyer confirms delivery, or if Escrova resolves a dispute in the seller’s favor, the funds are released immediately to the seller’s linked account.
6. What happens if there’s a dispute?
Escrova’s dispute system steps in. Both parties submit their evidence, and Escrova’s team reviews the case and makes a fair resolution. Funds remain locked until a decision is made.
7. Does Escrova charge any fees?
A small service fee is deducted from each transaction to cover payment processing and platform security. The fee is shown clearly before any transaction starts.
8. Is Escrova safe?
Yes. Payments are secured through Paystack, and data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security. No one can access or move your funds without verification.
9. Can I cancel a transaction?
Transactions can be cancelled only before the seller accepts it or before payment is confirmed. Once payment is held in escrow, it can only be released or refunded after both parties agree or a dispute resolution.
10. How do I get support?
You can reach us anytime through: Email: support@escrova.dev Telegram: @EscrovaSupport
11. Can I use Escrova for international deals?
Yes. As long as both buyer and seller have Paystack-supported payment options, you can use Escrova safely for cross-border deals.
12. What if the buyer never confirms delivery?
If the seller provides proof of delivery and the buyer doesn’t respond within the set timeline, Escrova will review the evidence and release the payment accordingly.
13. Is Escrova a wallet or a payment gateway?
Escrova is neither — it’s a neutral, protected escrow system that connects to payment gateways like Paystack to handle funds securely.
14. How do I start using Escrova?
Sign up with your email, create a transaction, and fund it through Paystack. The dashboard will guide you through each step automatically.
15. What makes Escrova different?
Transparency, fairness, and modern security. We use verified APIs, encrypted data storage, and clear dispute handling — no hidden terms, no shortcuts, just trust.
